School Expenses

My daughter started high school this week, and of course there were fees that went along with it. Thought I'd post them here.

$30 Ipad rental fee
$5 Freshman class fee
$20 Science lab fee
$39 Chorus fee (dress rental, necklace & ipad app)

So far that's it. She needed 3 notebooks and 2 binders, but I had those in my school supply stash. I will need to buy her a new pair of dress shoes for chorus recitals, and then the yearbook is $55.

    Notebooks 17 cents at Walmart. I bought 5. I use them for lists, notes, chores, etc.

    Wow, starting school really does lead to some expenses -- that is fine if they are budgeted, but it drives me crazy when there are sudden little add-ons. I honestly don't mind paying for my daughter's education at all, I just want some insurance that I can know about it in advance to prepare for it a bit in the budget!
