airline tickets

We need to order airline tickets to travel back to Wisconsin for our son's wedding next month. It's been sort of touch and go as to whether we'd able to afford the trip, which is why they haven't been ordered yet.

I am just wondering if anyone out there knows of a site to buy cheaper tickets? We know about kayak.com, expedia, travelocity, etc. we've checked BJs but it wasn't cheaper through them.

Any other ideas?

    I have been finding best airfare directly from airlines, lately. {Use a site like cheaptickets.com to narrow down the cheapest flights - then buy directly from Airline, for less. Cheaptickets used to be REALLY good, but haven't bought from them in many years. I just use to find the best airline for particular flights}.

    P.S. I just found www.google.com/flights, which has been great - easier to search more airports and more flexible days.

    Try to buy on a Tuesday at 3pm eastern or before. Airlines update their available tickets and prices at that time...from what I've read.
